The sMRT Shield is designed to leverage the next-generation enhancements of the MEOSAR system, notably the new Return Link Service (RLS). It includes a dedicated indicator to notify the user that their distress signal has been received, providing reassurance that help is on the way.
This 406 Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) was developed in collaboration with the European GNSS Agency (GSA) specifically for the recreational industry. It aims to save lives at sea during Man Overboard (MOB) situations.
